Decarbonizing the Sky: LEO Flight at the NYC GREENTECH FESTIVAL

Last Thursday and Friday, LEO Flight was honored to participate in the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in New York City. At the intersection of climate solutions and aerospace innovation, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in New York City serves as a global stage for the technologies that will define the next decade. LEO Flight was honored to participate in this year’s event at The Shed, bringing our vision of sustainable, personal flight to the heart of Hudson Yards.
As a company rooted in Indiana's manufacturing heritage, we believe that the Green Revolution in aviation must be practical, scalable, and—most importantly—efficient.
Beyond Jet Fuel: The Efficiency of Clustered Electric Jets
The LEO Coupe was a standout at the festival because it challenges the status quo of urban transportation. While traditional aviation relies on carbon-heavy fuels and massive land-use, our approach focuses on:
100% Electric Propulsion: Zero operational emissions and a significantly lower acoustic footprint than helicopters or propeller-driven eVTOLs.
Infrastructure Efficiency: Because the LEO Coupe has a compact 10' x 20' footprint and no open propellers, it doesn't require sprawling "vertiports."
Rapid Deployment: Our aircraft is designed to integrate into existing urban environments, using the driveways and rooftops we already have.

Redefining Urban Air Mobility (UAM)
One of the most productive aspects of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL was discussing the VERTISTOP network. Most people assume that "flying cars" will require multi-million dollar landing hubs. We proved that with the right technology, a takeoff spot can be as simple and compact as a standard parking space.
By bypassing the need for massive new physical infrastructure, LEO Flight is creating a more environmentally conscious and rapidly deployable solution for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).
A Thank You to the GREENTECH Changemakers
We want to thank the GREENTECH FESTIVAL team—including founders Nico Rosberg, Marco Voigt, and Sven Krüger—for fostering an environment that encourages creative thinking for climate change solutions. It is this spirit of adventure and problem-solving that drives us back in Indiana as we sprint toward our 2026 production milestones.
